As reported by Brussels, delegation The EP in Belgrade and Pristina will discuss the political situation and relations between the European Union with Serbia and Kosovo, while in the capitals of these two countries will remain from 27 February to 2 March, the EP's current announcement reported.

It becomes known that he will meet with Belgrade and Pristina leaders, with MPs, with opposition and representatives of civil society.

As reported in the report, the purpose of this visit is to review the political strategy on the ground and assess current reports between Kosovo and Serbia with the European Union, as well as review of planned reforms and dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, mediated by the EU.

McAlister, on the eve of the visit, said that the Western Balkans is the priority of EU foreign policy and that support from Serbia and Kosovo is needed for building more stable democratic institutions and for rule of law.

“We must achieve good neighbourly relations among all countries in the region, having a pattern of early success in northern Macedonia”, McAlister said.

The communiqué recalls that the European Parliament has adopted two resolutions with which it supported dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina last year, but stresses that the country's homogenous states do not make it in the region and that the future agreement will be acceptable only if both sides agree to it and if stability and international law are taken into account, Koha.net broadcasts.

The communique stresses that McAlister after the meetings will hold the conference with reporters on February 28th in Belgrade, while on March 2nd in Pristina.
