Eurodeputs meet with Ruci: We're losing patience with the opposition.

Chief Prime Minister Gramoz Ruci has held a meeting with Eurodeputs who have arrived in Tirana to discuss the possible resolution of the political crisis in the country, but the tones do not appear to be in the “dialog” line. The most recent of the Eurodeputs has emerged, the rapporteur for Albania at the EP, Knut Flickenstein.
“I am losing patience from the attitude of opposition deputies. Protests must remain calm, as images of violence in protests delay the country's integration. Moreover, the country's first lady should not prevent negotiations. We call on the European Council to assess Albania's” achievements, Knut Flickenstein, the German eurodeput, has said.
Kind of softer, but not a little critical, has come up with Tunne Kelam.
“The EP remains a major supporter of Albania's membership. Efforts to delay the opening of negotiations do not have our support. Justice reform is essential to citizens' governance and trust. It is the responsibility of all of you to co-operate in national interest, while we are moving away with a positive impression of your achievements, but with negative impressions of political division and lack of co-operation”, Tunne Kelam said.
He invited Albanian politicians to reach consensus and send positive signals to Europarliamentary negotiations. A stance that divided the Preda Eurodeput. I watched the 2017 elections and they were correct. On March 5th, we inform the EP of your achievements, while it is still possible that the opposition will return to the Assembly. After 10 days it will be late”, he said.
Albania's Parliament chief briefed the European Parliament delegation on Albania's performance so far.
“Integration goals are towards fulfillment, the Justice Reform is going very successfully. Vetting is vital for justice and Albania, so in June, new system organs will be in full operation. The reform has the support of 99% of Albanians. As far as the Electoral Reformation is concerned, the package is stored in the Assembly. Parliament is legitimate because it comes from fair elections, while 2017ers are certified by 100% of the opposition numerators. Although elections have problems, they are resolved in the Assembly, where we are available to the opposition, which enjoys rights as never before”, Ruci stressed.
