Hoxhaj has described the meeting as excellent, but has said it is the last moment that the “institutions reflect favourable American demand to suspend the tax and open the way to reach an agreement this year. ”
Furthermore, former foreign affairs minister said that “Kosovo- The US is at its lowest point throughout its entire 15-year career, and that it should be concern for politics and society in Kosovo. ”
This is Mr. Hoxhaj:
Excellent meeting with senior National Security Council officials, John Erath and Brad Berkeley. We made sure of the American dedication that the dialogue process with Serbia is completed with mutual recognition and Kosovo membership in the UN. It is the last moment for us as bearers of Kosovo institutions to reflect on the kindly American demand to suspend the tax and pave the way for us to reach an agreement this year. During my 15-year experience in politics, unfortunately, we are at the lowest point of Kosovo relations- The US and this should be a concern for politics and society in Kosovo. We should never question American support and partnership with them!
