Banks was world champion with England in 1966, which remains the only title won for “Three Lions”, writes Periscope.
He has defended 73 times for England, a major achievement for a goalkeeper of that time. He was a legend of Leicester City where he defended for eight years and made 293 presentations. Then, for Stoke City, he played 194 times and scored 28 goals.

Near the end of his career, Banks went to the United States of America.
He died in Stoke-on-Trint, England. /Periscopi
