When Bo Smith found out he was suffering from Bay cancer in the third phase, she didn't think she'd ever get pregnant or nurse her baby. But after she won her battle with the fear - inspiring disease, she came to do both, calling it a miracle.
The 32-year-old girl from Sugarland, Texas, was first diagnosed in February 2015 after discovering a change in the left bay. Doctors determined that it was breast cancer - a rare but very aggressive form of the disease.
Smith then underwent 44 rounds of chemotherapy, six treatments and surgery to remove his left chest. I want to hold my right breast because if there's a chance that I can have children in the future, I want to be able to breast-feed”, she said.
A year after her diagnosis in February 2016, Smith learned that she was improving, but he had to wait two years to get pregnant, even though this would be very difficult.
At this point, despite doctors ' advice to use IVF to increase its chances, Smith decided to try to get pregnant naturally.
And to her surprise, she became pregnant two months later. It was unimaginable. When I learned the disease I thought I'd never be a mother”
Smith gave birth to her son James on August 18, 2018, and is able to breast - feed him.
