And 54 percent say that they smoked until they became pregnant.
Smoking in pregnancy can cause premature birth, birth of a baby that is lower than normal and other problems.
Among these problems, according to some new research, is that only ten cigarettes you consume during pregnancy can have negative effects in your teen years, hindering the child's executive function.
So this involves problems with attention or focus during the teen years, problems with management skills, organisational problems, etc.
The findings suggest that more work must be done to help pregnant women quit.
