Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has lost his budget vote in Parliament during the day, pushing the country towards early elections, Periscopi translates.
This makes the country slip into political uncertainty because of the crisis that prompted Catalonia's declaration of independence last year.
Co-operation with Catalan separatists gave Mr. Sanchez to form a minority government in June. On Wednesday, separatist lawmakers abandoned Sanchezi, becoming together with opposition parties to bring down the budget.
The Catalan lawmaker turned his back on Sanchezi after failing to convince him of a second independence referendum after the first was declared unconstitutional in 2017. /Periscopi
