American Ambassador to the UN Security Council was the third to speak from UN member states at the council after Ambassador Vlora Citaku's speech.
He said Kosovo has made remarkable progress in dialogue with Serbia and that it agrees with his colleague from Germany.
It's depressing that when dialogue requires improvement we hear very controversial languages here and that's very unfortunate and I agree with the German colleague. We are all grateful for the fact that UNMIK has fulfilled its obligation and, however, through the UN team, may be another job, but not through UNMIK.
As America has asked earlier, we want to have a review of the strategy and an ex-exit plan of UNMIK in Kosovo and work harder in normalising the Kosovo and Serbian reports. It's the right time, as Trump said, to reach an agreement and that's possible in 2019”, he said. But stressing that an annulment of Kosovo's tax on Serbian and Bosnian products is needed. /Periscopi
