In an exclusive interview for Tempora, at Naa Ora, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj makes strong statements, raises direct accusations as never before on the issue of conflict between Kosovo and Serbia.
At such an important and delicate moment, when the head of the independent state government, at the same time, former KLA fighters are articulated with ideas and direct messages in terms of the international community, politics in Kosovo, in Albania, their leaders, the media and Albanians, in terms of an uncertain information and absolute lack of transparency by actors, who have proposed an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, which can affect their borders, most importantly it is to ask questions, to make all the dilemmas, to speak and speak and open the doors of which are closed with many forms of fate.
For this, any question, doubt or dilemma that today roams the mind of any Albanian on the fates of Kosovo and Albania must be answered by those at the helm.
Ramush Haradinaj did so, he spoke out, without any leads for Kosovo according to him, for his firm stance on the future and its territorial integrity, on the impact of Kosovo's enemies, for Russians exercising any kind of influence until politicians, analysts and media purchase to impose their own agenda. This is the mission of the media, to dare to get to the truth, in the search for its neempromis, asking, receiving answers.
Certainly in times like these there are those who worry about the answers and statements of Prime Minister Haradinaj. There are those who would like not to touch any of this issue in the Albanian media, worrying about journalists' questions.
So the primary task of the media, which is not blackmailed, bought, and has no agenda but public interest, is to disturb, take positions in the first person, make protagonists speak. The media and politics themselves today must be disturbed by Haradinaj's accusations.
But above all, today we have an interview and voice statements and figures by the Kosovo leader on his determination to force the international community to pressure Serbia to recognise Kosovo. We will never be able to invite attitudes in the first person without asking all the questions.
This is a journalist's mission, who wants to do it or who's so troubled by it, his reasons should be found in his intentions.
