Academia Rexhep Qosja has estimated that from the National Renaissance, Albania's Declaration of Independence and Kosovo's are the two biggest historical events of the Albanian nation.
He's in an interview for “A2 CNN” has said that the independence of Albania and Kosovo is achieved thanks to three factors, the mind, wealth and war.
“In the new Albanian history that begins with the National Renaissance and lasts until today, there are two major events, the biggest events of this story: Albania's declaration of Independence on November 28th 1912 and Kosovo's declaration of independence on February 17th 2008. It should be said that much effort, much power, has been invested in these two major events. Striving through a pencil has been invested, hard work. The wealth-rich efforts of Albanians, many more Albanians in the outside world here, especially the United States of America, have been invested, and then war efforts have been invested. So three factors have contributed to the achievement of Albania and Kosovo: mind, wealth and war”, Qosja has said.
Qosja Academy has asked itself and others how Kosovo works today. In this context, Qosja has said that Kosovo today functions as an autocratic state.
But we need to ask the question today. How does this state operate, a state called democratic today? I say this state of Kosovo today largely functions as an autocratic state. The institutions of this state are institutions in most of the autocratic time of the party state”, Qosja has indicated.
He said this situation didn't happen by accident. “How to say it by accident, a little bit more difficult do things in politics and in building the state. But they have occurred in a lack of a genuine democratic culture, but they have also occurred for the sake of different interests of those who hold power”, Qosja has declared, adding that the judiciary, health media are controlled and ignored by state carriers.
We today have the judiciary captured by the state. Today we have media checked. We can even call a number of them colonized media. We today have an education reform that has increased the size of education institutions, their amount, but has lowered, lowered, damaged the quality of education. That's why you've seen what protests were made in the education court. We today have health as well as ignored, especially materially ignored. So surgeons, people in a very serious and very important profession for human life, are people who deal with life to save people's deaths, and are ignored, humiliated by their salaries”, Qosja said.
Furthermore, the Qosja academic has also talked about political culture in institutions. He said people in power were once poor.
The greatest number of those in power today have taken power, who have gained power even in elections, have come to power as poor. Today, there are people who, being in political positions, have been richly enriched. And all of them, especially those of the first and second rank, use power for their own”, have stressed academic Qosja, finding that the level of corruption is damaging Kosovo in all areas.
“We have today some phenomena which are extremely great for the state of Kosovo, for Kosovo citizens, but also for Kosovo's appearance, the image of Kosovo, the prestige of Kosovo in the world. We have tremendous, huge corruption, which they underestimate here. But, visa liberalisation, Kosovo is not being given in the first place because of this corruption”, Qosja has said.
In this interview, Qosja has also mentioned familiarisation in institutions, saying this phenomenon is dangerous for the country.
We have another very damaging, very harmful, very dangerous, very vulnerable phenomenon for Kosovo development, we have the so-called familiarism with which family members are covered and privileged not only, but also friends, friends, friends, and friends, but also party members. They're the ones who get hired. They are granted privileges. With a word of power today in Kosovo, it has been put in service to people in positions. And they're taking the law. They're above the law objectively. And all these phenomena have brought great displeasure to the people and have brought some great consequences. Kosovo on one side has these political rich ones, political millionaires, on the other side has poor people. This situation has brought about a dangerous, large, ever more rapid migration of Kosovo. This situation has brought young people, the largest number of young people do their best to get out of Kosovo, and they are coming out, leaving Kosovo”, Qosja has said.
In this respect, he has also offered the solution to the problems facing the Republic of Kosovo.
Qosja has said that resolving all of Kosovo's problems is the new generation of policy people.
I say that the first of the money to be made in Kosovo, to avoid general despair, to avoid a decline in the ethical health of the people, to avoid a situation we call a danger to social peace in Kosovo, it would have to become a rule of law before Kosovo can be. In Kosovo it is despised, humiliated, just-right. Therefore Kosovo needs the rule of law”, Qosja academic has indicated. /Periscopi/
