On the basis of a Kosovo Ministry of Internal Affairs decision, the arms legalisation process has started from December last year and will last until 17 June this year.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Izmi Zeka has said that there are nearly 300 demands so far and at first glance it appears to be a small number, but expected over time to increase that number.
Even when we started this process, we have estimated that even a weapon if legalized, this is reached by Kosovo”, Zeka said, broadcast Periscopi.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Zeka, there are probably over 200 thousand unregistered weapons in Kosovo, but some of them are weapons of war that are stored and that are not all effective weapons. / RTV 21
