The number of women added to German companies' supervisory boards

According to research by the organisation “Fidar”, which registers women's boards positions, the figure rose to 31.8%, up from 30.9 % that was late June. Last year that figure was 28.1%.
Since the beginning of 2016, companies listed in certain sizes, generally with more than 2,000 employees, must employ women's supervisory board positions until a minimum of 30% is reached.
Some 4,000 other companies are required to determine their objectives for women, both in positions of supervisory boards and in management. / A T S/
