Research conducted by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has found that weekend sleep does not replace lost sleep during five working days, writes Medicalnewstoday.
“The main message of this study is that the long weekend sleep does not recover the immunity and metabolism damaged by insomnia”, said Kenneth Wright, who is a researcher at Colorado University.
