Below you have her interview on this television, where she clearly states that if the LDK continues to insist on the request to get the president then the country will go to new elections.
Will the agreement be made with the LDK?
Haxhiu: From the moment elections in the Republic of Kosovo ended, the Vetevendosje Movement has changed its approach to how coalitions become. We've already installed another mindset. We immediately contacted our partner, LDK, which we intend to have in government. We've had a series of meetings harmonising the governing programme. Meetings have been conveyed with an optimistic spirit. Kosovo has many problems which have not allowed us to dwell too much on ideology.
Haxhiu further stressed that divisions have taken place in the ministry. We've closed programming issues and made the 12 ministries apart from 21 who were, because there has been a tendency for abuse. 5 ministries will be headed by the Vetevendosje Movement, and 2 will be reserved for representatives of non- majority communities in Kosovo”, Albulen Haxhiu said.
It also says the president's case has been opened, stressing that it is not intended to address the issue.
Our position is not to talk about the President's case. This requirement has no support from citizens, and unless they withdraw from this requirement, the only option remains the” elections, Haxhia said. She also stressed that the LDK should have the will to make a coalition with Vetevendosje, and if the alternative does not happen, the elections remain.
The “Vulent that Vetevendosje has to make a coalition must also have the LDK. The coalition must be launched with confidence between the two sides. We will commit to living the will of citizens, but we do not rule out extraordinary elections in the Republic of Kosovo. We should also see the options that are to make the coalition, Vetevendosje MP Albulen Haxhiu said. /abcnews.
