The official confirmed a comprehensive count by Turkish state news agency Anadolu Agency (AA), which said 13 French and five British citizens have returned, as well as by two citizens from Belgium, the Netherlands, Kosovo and Morocco.
A citizen from each of the countries, the US, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, and Australia was also repatriated.
So far, Turkey has included in the expulsion of even children.
The deportations were launched on November 11th, but the ministry has not specified whether all suspects were linked to the extremist Islamic State group, nor has it provided details on the charges against them.
