Toyota GR Yaris arrives in January

Yaris GR is the second clean GR sports model after Toyota GR Sopra, broadcasting Kosova Prees.

The new sports car, inspired by Toyota GR Yaris, will have its international premiere at the Tokyo Car Fair on January 10th.

GR Yaris means advanced technology, knowledge and experience gained by Toyota's winning participation in the World Rally Championship (WRC), where he competes in the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) team.

GR Yaris will be the second model of fully sports vehicles to be launched globally by TGR, following the return of Toyota GR Sopra last year.

In 2017, Toyota returned to FIA World Rally Championship with a new model, Yaris World Rally Car, who brought five of its victories and a title champion for the manufacturer in 2018, followed by the driver's championship and co-competer in 2019.

TGR has been most successful in the auto sport at the World Championship of Riderade Competition Toyota TS050, which took the championship title in both the producers and drivers' categories, 2014 and 2018-2019. The Toyota is at the top of this 2019-2020 season in both races.

Earlier this year, TGR brought its first absolute victory in the famous Dakar rally, Toyota Hilux, led by Qatar champion Naser al-Atiyayah.
