Through a Facebook status, Thaci has said the three laws that paved the way for the transformation of the KSF were the laws that have taken the most votes ever, thus testifying to the determination of the entire political spectrum and the will of the entire Kosovo to have our army.
On December 14th of last year, we completed a process launched in 2014, with which we founded the Kosovo Army. With amendments to the Law for KSF, we gave the Kosovo Security Force the mandate and competencies it and all of Kosovo deserve. The three laws that paved the way for the transformation of the KSF were laws that have taken the most votes ever, thus testifying to the determination of the entire political spectrum and the will of the entire Kosovo to have our army.
The Kosovo Security Force as a professional force with NATO standards, as a multiethnic force that serves all Kosovo citizens, in the entire territory of our state, is willing to contribute to peace and stability beyond our region. The Kosovo Security Force has witnessed its skills and high preparation in search-saving missions, both in Kosovo and abroad. It is now increasing the capacities for new tasks to protect Kosovo's citizens from external threats, but also to help our allies establish and preserve peace wherever the need to” appears, Thaci wrote.
