Since sleep requires much time, we need to reexamine some of our sleeping habits.
That's why you should never sleep in your stomach:
Causes Urth
Eating in the stomach can cause a problem called gastrouseageal reflux disease (GERD) or at least make it worse.
This happens when the contents of acid and stomach reach esophagus. A valve that prevents the return of acid from the stomach area cannot control the reflux because of gravity in these positions, and stomach content reaches the end of the esophagus, causing pain, sour taste in the mouth, gasp, and sometimes even chest pain.
It's bad for your back.
According to experts, this sleep position is accompanied by chronic back pain. The pressure on the back at night is huge in this position. The spine is not set in a natural position and sometimes you can feel pain.
It can cause chronic neck problems
It's impossible to breathe properly while sleeping in your stomach if you don't turn your neck around. Hence, this state of sleep can lead to the development of chronic neck problems, such as hernia disks.
It causes wrinkles in the face
Sleeping on one side of your face on a pillow is inevitable when you sleep in your stomach. Studies have shown that this is the worst thing you can do to your face, as pressure can cause wrinkles in your face over time.
Makes unnecessary pressure on your chest
If you want healthy breasts, you shouldn't sleep in your stomach. Doing so creates unnecessary pressure, and in some cases it can cause pain. Try sleeping on your back.
