Former LDK deputy Ademi Saliaj, in a conversation for Periscope, has said that the division of positions, including that of the president, is being made to balance the powers and that no party domination should take place, because according to him the difference between LDK and VV) is nearly the same, and that this narrow margin of election results has come as a result of Mimoza Kusari's election vote, not Vetevendosje.
A balanced form of powers is good and healthy for Kosovo. The domination of one party and the ignoring of the other party is harmful and should not happen. VV and LDK have roughly the same result, Vetevendosje's small margin is the result of votes that have brought Mimoza Kusari's alternative, not the real votes of this party”, Saliha has declared.
Adem Salihaj, who is also a member of the party's leadership at the Ferizaj branch, which finished second in the election, has stressed that the prime minister's post is more powerful than the position of president and Speaker of the Parliament together.
“Therefore, rough balance of powers must occur. Despite all, the prime minister's position is more important and more powerful than the position of mayor and president together. With such a small margin of votes, Vetevendosje does not belong to both the prime minister and one deputy prime minister, the president, even half of the government. After all, the mayor has no political powers. ”, Saliaj said.
Referring to the media-designed names for the president's post as consensual candidate, such as Rexhep Qosja's Veton Surroi, Salhiaj says the president's name should not be extracted from Wednesday and that it cannot be a gift for certain individuals.
There is no logic to be tempted by someone who has the name of the president of state taken out of the sleeve, or someone who tries to donate this position to someone to whom he has personal sympathy or interests. These games should be cut off permanently”, he said.
