Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zaharova said today that official Moscow condemns Pristina's verdict on Ivan Todosijevich, former Minister of Local Power Management.
He was sentenced to two years in prison over statements he had made concerning Albanians and the Recak massacre.
Todosijevic was charged with criminal work “inciting hatred, division or national patience”.
Russian MPJ official says Todosijevic's sentence is “further evidence of the anti-Serb depression Kosovo authorities systematically implement”.
“We strongly condemn Pristina's act against Serbian List MP Todosijevic because he spoke of the counterfeit nature of events in the village of Recak”, she added, Sputnik broadcasts Klan Kosova.
