Zinedine Zidane said Real Madrid would not sign with any attackers in January after another goalless match against the Athletic Bilbao.
Madrid failed to score in two successive matches after playing a 0-0 draw against Athletic in Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
Tony Croos, Nacho, Jovic and Benzema had a good chance of achieving it, but they failed.
Benzema is Los Blanco's best scorer, with 12 goals in La League and 16 in all races.
Asked if he would seek a new attacker, Zidane replied: “No. Absolutely, I don't see the need to sign with an attacker”
