Vladimir Putin vents to Polish ambassador: “M*t”, “th anti-semit”
Russia's President Vladimir Putin has claimed Poland was anti-Semitic and has co-operated with Adolf Hitler in an argument against the European resolution, which partly blames the Soviet Union for World War II.
Putin, at a meeting with top generals, said the European Parliament's recent resolution blaming the 1939 Soviet Union pact with Nazi Germany for the outbreak of war a few days later was “a complete fool”.
Mr. Putin called the treaty “Molotov-Ribbethrop” as a movement which the Soviet Union was obliged to do because other European countries had signed non-aggression agreements with Hitler, writes Independent, the Periscope.
He said the deal reached in 1938 to allow the annexation of Czechoslovakia by Hitler was an example of the “co-operation of the West with Nazi leaders before focusing on attacks against Poland.
Mr. Putin presented several archives documents claiming to show the Polish ambassador to Berlin, praising Hitler's plans for the deportation of Jews from Europe.
Explosing angrily, he called the ambassador in word <x0m>*t” and “der antisemit”.
