Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his American counterpart Donald Trump a new message today inviting him to participate in the 75th anniversary of his former victory - The USSR in World War II next May announces the Kremlin.
Putin said in the message that Russia and the US had a historic responsibility to ensure world security and stability, and that Moscow advocates normalisation of bilateral relations and establishing an equal dialogue based on mutual respect for interests.
Putin also congratulated Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, expressing his confidence that developing a constructive, bilateral co-operation in a number of areas, as well as mutual respect, was fully in the interest of Russia and Canada.
