Prompt Jasharaj: Unless the Law on Salaries is implemented, the educational system can be paralyzed

Prompt Jasharaj: If the Law on Salaries is not implemented, three trade unions, education, health and police systems of Kosovo during the day have sought an urgent meeting with the heads of state, including party heads, in order to inform them of the possible consequences if the Law of the Pagans is not implemented, writes Periscope.

This meeting has been called for a day after the delivery of the Law for the Salat by the Ombudsman to the Constitutional Court, while the meeting according to them must take place further until Tuesday next week, on the contrary the consequences will be great. The SBASK chairman has told Periscope that he wishes too much for their demand to be taken seriously, because if he doesn't take it seriously then big trouble will begin, even the entire education and health system in the Republic of Kosovo can be paralyzed.

I'm saying yes, I'm not the one who decided, but it's probably if the salary law isn't implemented, but that's for the council to decide. I hope this doesn't happen, because it doesn't have to happen”, Jasharaj told Periscope. The only reason they have asked for a meeting with the heads of state according to Jasaraj is to inform them of what awaits Education and Health in Kosovo if their workers don't take wages with the new law this month.

“We are coordinating that we have joint commitments about what to do in the future and we as we decide together we will act by seeing that some of the disgruntled and tensions have been raised on the members that we represent, we initially thought that it would not be said in the future that we didn't know because you haven't met with us, we thought that we would first give some more spaceolog, going to the prime minister, Ramush Haridaj and then the leaders of parties, and those who are supposed to be in power as well as those in opposition, to talk with him to express our concerns, and to show you that if the law does not start to implement him, we can also have some trouble in the public sector and the rest of education. Our goal is to inform and then the executive councils of these three Federations will sit separately and bring a decision”, says Jasharaj. However, Jasharaj said the decision will be taken in co-ordination with the leading councils of respective unions and conveying the decisions of mayors of municipal levels.

I am saying that the decision brought by the board of directors and the heads of municipal levels and the university, based on the voice of teachers and other education workers from nests to university, I will apply it because I have it on duty and I will be in front of any union decision they decide to make. To be correct, I can't interrupt, I can't decide as an individual, I don't even put leadership and staff here. What I will establish by listening to the voice of those whom I represent, I will respect”, Jasharaj said.

None of the unions so far have received answers from the heads of state, while Jasharaj says he hopes they will not escape their responsibilities.

So far as I'm talking to you, we haven't received a positive or negative answer to the invitation and we've done it. But if they wish to flee from the responsibilities and say that it is not within its power, then the counsel of those who are presiding will be gathered together and will decide how to proceed. I hope the heads of state take our concerns as very serious because I'm saying things can happen that don't please anyone, strikes, curses, or sprays in”, Jasharaj said. /PERISCOP
