President Donald Trump abused power

The Democrats of the House of Representatives submitted their report Tuesday regarding President Donald Trump's dismissal, accusing him of using the competencies that he gives his post to seek intervention by a foreign government for the 2020 elections. The commission is expected to convene later this day to vote on the report. The issue will then be passed to the House of Representatives Jury Commission, which will launch operations on the issue Wednesday.
If the House of Representatives were to vote in favour of charges for the president's dismissal, the case would be passed to try the Senate where the two third votes of the senators present would be needed for his dismissal.
Part of the discussion is whether President Trump has abused the task by pressuring Ukraine to investigate former US Vice President Joe Biden, one of the main contenders to be the official candidate of the 2020 elections.
Trump has denied breaking the law and accused the Democrats of using investigations to overturn the 2016 election outcome.
Polls show that Americans are divided over their approach to the process of sacking President Trump.
Lawmakers and the public have heard evidence from current and former officials that the military assistance to Ukraine was suspended and that a meeting at Ukraine's White House Voldymyr Zelenskiy was conditioned with the launch of investigations by Kiev about an unconfirmed theory that Ukraine has intervened in the 2016 American elections. / VoA
