French designer, Emmanuel Ungaro, has passed away in Paris at the age of 86.
He was the son of Italian immigrants who were trained by Spanish designer Cristobal Balenciaga.
Wongro had founded his fashion home in the 1960 ' s. He had described himself as the sexually fixed “ ” with a reputation for color and bold printing, the BBC writes.
In 2005 he had retired and sold his brand. She had been critical of the fashion house when American actress Lindsey Lohan was employed for a while as an artistic director.
Ungaro was born in Aix-en-Promond in northern France in 1933.
