Web site One hundred and fifty-seven. com from Spain for years performing the so-called “testation of the northern deer” on new models from the European market.
The idea for this test came from the Swedish magazine Technicens Världé, which presented the same test over two decades ago.
It's a specific security test testing vehicle maneuver in extreme conditions.
It consists of a maneuver of sudden direction change, at certain speeds, which simulates avoiding any unexpected obstacles similar to Swedish roads.
In the most recent test, the Spaniards drove a VW middle class caravan Pass that is very popular in Germany. It turned out, however, that this machine did not perform satisfactorily.
With a standard test speed of 77km/h, the back of the vehicle slipped dangerously and hit the border cones.
The test was repeated several times, at slower speed, to cross the trail to 73 km/h without the cones falling.
Otherwise, the test contained a Variant Passa re-diagnosed with a TSI 2.0-litre 190 power TSI gas.
The car is equipped with a R-Line package and a 235/40 R19 tyre.
