The new Opel Corsa debuted this year at the September Auto Show in Frankfurt, and for the first time other than the conventional machine model, the Corsa electric version was introduced.
A jury of international journalists from 31 countries made the decision after the final test took place in Istanbul.
“We are very lucky to have received this recognition,” said Opel Chief Executive Chief Michael Lochsener.
“The election of independent expert journalists shows that with the new Corsa we have created a car for all those who are looking at”, he added.
Second place belonged to the Peugeot 208 model and the third smaller Sckoda corsoverer, the Karave model.
Otherwise, last year the price “Autobest” was split to Cirroen Berlingo, Peugeot Rifter and Opel Combo.
