Members of the German Bundestag, Christian Schmidt and Peter Beyer, came to Kosovo with a clear message: The faster the formation of Kosovo institutions.
But yesterday, the European Union office in Kosovo called for the Government to be formed as soon as possible and to proceed with the important issues awaiting the country, such as dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia on normalising relations.
The call of the EU office was also joined by the American Embassy in Kosovo and by that of Great Britain.
These political analyst Imer Mushkolaj statements have seen the international interest in forming the coalition between LV and LDK as soon as possible.
Mushkolaj has criticised The LDK for insisting on the post of president, saying it cannot block the coalition agreement with the LVV, only because of the personal interests of someone who is aiming to become president.
The international interest of the coalition is to form, not only their own, but the citizens of Kosovo. Both parties must respect the will of the citizens and form a coalition, regardless of whether one has enough to block the agreement for personal interests. To accommodate the post of president”, Mushkolaj has declared a pronomation for Periscope.
Mushkolaj adds that LDK's request to propose the president in 2021 does not coincide with the will of citizens, since elections are held solely for executive and legislature.
This is not right because people have voted for the Government of Parliament, not for president who comes after 1 year and a half”, Mushkolaj has declared.
The recogniser of political issues in the country has also talked about the need for Kosovo to form institutions.
“The establishment of institutions is necessary because of the difficult situation, due to the adoption of the budget, dialogue with Serbia, and how to start the highly-advanced fight for crime and corruption”, Mushkolaj has declared.
Kosovo analyst, however, doubts fighting crime and corruption can be achieved with the future ruling coalition. Especially, says Mushkolaj, when the LDK will be in government, which has been consistently part of previous governments and carries responsibility for the state's capture.
This will be difficult by the obstacles stemming from the ruling coalition structures themselves. Remembering the LDK has been a part of governments and has the responsibility to capture the state, which it says will fight with Vetevendosje”, Mushkolaj has declared. /Periscopi/
