Lipjan municipality stops throwing fireworks during the holiday season

The Lipjan municipality has announced that the mayor of this municipality, Imri Ahmeti, has made a decision to stop the lighting of fireworks and pyrotechnic vehicles during the holiday season in public spaces and residential ones.

A media report from this municipality says the decision has been made in order to protect the environment and health of citizens.

“Mayor Imri Ahmeti today has made a decision to prevent fireworks and pyrotechnic devices during the late holidays of the year in public spaces of the Lipjan municipality, as well as in residential areas. The ban on lighting fireworks and pyrotechnics becomes more aimed at protecting air and environment from pollution, as well as protecting the health of citizens”, the municipality's announcement said. /Periscopi/
