The LDK today celebrates the 30th anniversary of the party's founding, and Ibrahim Rugova's figure is considered among the key to this subject. But Krasniqi says everything could be different.
“Rugova initially refused to be LDK) chairman”, Krasniqi said at T7.
But Krasniqi, along with Yusuf Bujovin, shows it was the role of Germans and Americans in establishing the LDK that influenced Rugova's conviction to give his signature on the founders' list, and to be elected as the first chairman of this party.
