“As long as the export of goods had been marked and import growth accelerated in 2019, goods export growth and slower import growth are being noted. This has contributed to an improvement of imports with exports from 10.8 per cent in September 2018 to 11.3 per cent in September 2019”, the CEC's latest report said.
According to the CEC, goods export by September 2019 has marked the value of 288.8m euros, which is for 9.0 per cent more compared to the same period in 2018.
The export growth of goods was the most pronounced in basic metals, plastic and rubber products, as well as electric machinery and equipment”, the CEC reported.
On the other hand, the reduction in export of mineral products, skin exports, and skin items, vegetable exports, etc.
The value of importing goods by September 2019 was 2.5 billion euros, which is for 3.6 per cent higher compared to the same period in 2018. The higher growth was noted in the import of transport tools, minerals, textiles and textiles, as well as plastic and rubber products, etc.
