Police inspectors have suspended two policemen who were at QKUK, when Minister of Trade in Task Andrew Shala allegedly physically attacked a journalist who was reporting from the scene.
The prosecution has launched investigations into the politician for the criminal offense.
Today, in 19.12.2019 with the prosecutor's authorisation of the Director's Investigations Directorate of KP Crimes, a suspect has been interviewed in connection with the assault case, occurring in 17.12.2019.
Meanwhile, the police inspectors have decided that the two police officers who had been at the scene and did not take any measures would be suspended.
Shala has told Klan Kosovo it has been a misunderstanding and that she has apologised to Indescsonline journalist, even though the latter have not confirmed this.
In this regard today, incumbent Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who said the prosecution should deal with the case.
“Any kind of media violence, on journalists, no matter who happens, but I believe the prosecution will deal with this case”, he said.
