International People's Day of Limited Skills

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Restricted Persons envisions that to enable those with limited ability to live independently and to participate fully in all aspects of life, states take adequate measures to provide those with limited skills, equal to others, access to physical environments, transport, information, and communication, including technology and information systems, and communication systems, and other objects and services that are open or offered to the public.
The EU office in Kosovo in co-operation with the Government of Kosovo and Handikos today organises the annual conference on the International Day of Persons with Limited Skills.
The conference is held within the framework of the EU-funded project “Promising inclusion in consultative processes on governance and public administration reform in the local, national and regional capacity sector”, which is supported by the European Union and implemented by Handikos.
