For the 11th year in a row, Iceland was ranked the best place to be a woman, new research by the World Economic Forum shows.
The report ranks 153 countries based on gender equality.
Next to Iceland at the top of the list for 2019 are Norway, Finland, Sweden and Nicaragua. The US, entering 53rd, didn't even make it first 10.
It even dropped two points from his ranking last year. America was ranked 51 in 2018 and number 49 in 2017.
It will take an average of 99.5 years to achieve gender equality globally in all work, education, politics and health at the current level, the report was found.
While this rate seems discouraging, the gap has actually closed since last year, when researchers predicted it would take 108 years to close.
