This triggered a huge reaction by Swiss media, while the official site of the NFF made an unexpected comment. Zeqiri plays for the U-21 national team. [...]
The Zeqiri plays for the current U-21 national helvetic team, and has scored 21 goals in only 16 matches.
He plays for the Lisanne team [Lausanne] in which he has scored twice in 17 matches. For a year he was loaned to the U-19 youth team, where he made 41 goals in only 30 matches, Periscope notes.
Today, Zeqiri met with Agim Ademi and the FFK site on Instagram added an inappropriate question: “Will this be the surprise of 2019 or will it be the 2020 bomb?”
The Swiss newspaper Blick reported on the meeting, which alarmed the public that Kosovo was trying to steal the biggest talent of the age group. While football player's father, Avdi Zeqiri has denied everything, saying they have met by chance in a hotel with the head of the federation.
“We have accidentally met him [Agim Ademi] at a hotel. ”
And Agim Ademi himself spoke of KTV, in which he said the meeting was informal.
It was just a meeting between me, Andy and his family. There is nothing concrete, but certainly we will talk not only to him but also to others about the possibility of joining Kosovo. For now there's nothing concrete”, he said. /Periscope
