After the Chamber is controlled by the rival Democrats of the President, the move is expected to pass and pave the way for Trump's trial in the Senate.
If that happens, Trump will be the third president in the history of the United States to face such a process that could lead to dismissal.
Democrats present charges against Trump
Procedures aimed at dismissing the president were initiated in September by the Democrats, when it was discovered that Trump has asked the Ukrainian counterpart to investigate his political rival, Joe Biden.
Beden may be Trump's counter-Candidate in the 2020 presidential election.
Trump is said to have conditioned military assistance to Ukraine in exchange for these investigations.
He denies any wrongdoing, but seeking help from abroad to win US elections is an illegal act.
On Trump, two counts of abuse of power and obstruction of the work of Congress.
If <x0mpeachment” passes to the Senate, this Chamber is unlikely to then vote for the president's dismissal, as it is controlled by his Republican Party.
“Open struggle for American democracy”
On Tuesday, Trump sent a letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, accusing him of declaring the <x0-fight open to American democracy”.
“
He also said that his “were denied the most fundamental rights, envisioned by the Constitution, including the right to present evidence”.
The president, in fact, was publicly invited by the Democrat chairman of the House of Representatives Judicial Committee to present evidence in the process of “impeament”, what he would allow his legal team to question even witnesses, but he refused.
The leader of the democratic minority in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, said on Tuesday that if <x0mpeate” passes to the Senate, each senator will take the oath of impartial “direction”.
The trial in the Senate if it ever arrives will begin on January 6th.
Presidents facing dismissal procedures
Against Bill Clinton, they've started firing procedures because of fraud and obstruction of justice after lying about the nature of his relationship with Monica Lewinsky and then allegedly asking her to lie.
But when the trial has gone to Senate in 1999, the detention vote has failed.
How does the process of firing an American president take place?
The next president to face dismissal procedures was Andrew. Johnson, 1868. He is, among other things, accused of dismissing his war secretary against the will of Congress.
Johnson has narrowly escaped, as two-thirds of the vote in the Senate has not been achieved for only one vote.
Richard Nixon, the 37th president of the United States, resigned in 1974 before he could be blamed for the Watergate scandal. /Rel/
