According to some psychologists, the teen years begin when a child is 9 to 13 years old and is a transitional period in which they seek to become more independent.
To make this transition period easier, children must help their children absorb certain skills before they can reach 13 years.
Win and manage money
You can teach your child basic financial skills when they are very young. At the age of 13, children should be able to keep money from the money you give them every day, to be aware of the cost of basic household items, and to be able to make decisions about spending and saving.
They must be able to do housework
According to some psychology experts, children can do much housework from an early age. At age 13, children should be able to iron their clothes, put them in laundry, change their sheets, clean their car, etc.
Prepare Bread
Cooking is the important skill children need before they grow up, and there are many easy recipes you can teach to begin with. For example, a child can learn how to prepare eggs, pasta, salads, sandwiches, and so on.
Time Management
Time management skills are essential: your child should be able to plan, set priorities, and work productively. Try to offer your child tools that can help to be more efficient, such as special calendars or different apps on the phone.
