California-based Bruce Lee Enterprises set up a court process against Real Kungfu chain in Shanghai, demanding it stop using Bruce Lee's photograph, but also pay about $11,000 legal taxes.
Bruce Lee's daughter company is also demanding that the fast-food chain declare for 90 days that it is not linked to the combat artist.
Real Kungfu was established in 1990 and is present in 57 cities in China. The company announced it was concerned because of the indictment, after using its logo for 15 years and claiming it was approved by authorities.
