State police explained that “within the framework of stepped-up measures for preventing and striking lawlessness, as well as on the basis of information obtained on the operational route that a bus of the Athens-Vlore line, in which there were hidden goods with the aim of failing to pay for customs duty, would enter the Republic of Albania through the Border Border Cross Point, the Capavian Border Police services, in co-operation with customs services conducted a search of this step”.
Police also explain the dynamics of the operation, which explains that “during the search, at the inside of the bus, at a suitable location in the air conditioning section and in the toilet section were found and seized in the quality of the evidence 63 cigarette stelas, and in the trunk of the vehicle, two confectioned suitcases were found, which would be smuggled into our country (4)x1>.
