It's a four-liter unit with four turbines, which debuted only three years ago.
The engine has a multi-stage lift system: two high-pressure chargers with low inert pressure and two “turbina” enter sequenceal operation.
As a result, the oil engine produces 400 horsepower.
BMW will gradually withdraw from the sale M550d, 750d and 750Ld, followed by modified M5 X5, X6 and X7.
After that, the most powerful bavarian oil will be B57D30T0 from the same family, but with two turbo-bulls with 326 horsepower.
It is speculated that BMW is preparing a hybrid system based on weaker oil engines.
