According to a Civil Guard communique, it's about a 54-year-old Spaniard, involved in drug trafficking since his youth and known as the “God of Port”.
He was the person with the best network of contacts to recover cocaine shipments after their arrival at the port of Algecas, located south of the Iberian Peninsula, the most nerve drug entry point in the country.
The arrest of this person constitutes the second phase of an operation initiated during the summer of 2018, during which 21 people were arrested, including ten people working for the port, and 480kg of cocaine were seized.
