Hamza, who received the votes to be deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo from the 6 October elections, has said he wrote yesterday to incumbent Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj in praise.
This does not mean that I have resigned from the post of minister in office as the Constitution and the Framework of the Parliament regulates this. The moment you move to the Assembly you can't hold the minister's post, it's not happening for the first time.
I remind you that the same has happened in the previous term. Like when Mr. Hoti was the minister of finance when he was certified as an MP and took an oath then he stayed in the Assembly.
While former Prime Minister Mr. Mustafa has appointed Agim Krasniqi finance minister. And in this direction I have acted in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and the Framework of the Parliament, rather as a sign of thanks for the co-operation we have behind me I have written a letter to the Prime Minister. I am deputy of the Republic of Kosovo, and PDK parliamentary group chief” has said Bedri Hamza on Indexline.
