A bank employee in Kamenica is sentenced to credit on behalf of customers

The Foundation Court in Gjilan has sentenced the accused A. A. for eight months in prison, since during June 2011 through February 2015, he deliberately misused his official duty.
The accused, credit analyst at the Private Bank for Business in Kamenica, had exceeded his competencies, taking credit on behalf of customers without their knowledge, signing forms, apps and using documentation he had in client files, with these acts the accused has caused damage to the bank in the amount of 120 thousand euros.
By these actions, accused A. A., has committed criminal work “misuse of official position or authority”, sanctioned work with the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code (KPRK).
The court has obliged the accused to return the 120,000-euro loan to the Private Business Bank within two years. /Periscopi/
