Albanian heroin smuggler abroad in Italy

He was arrested by Austrian police on November 10th 2019 near Austria's Nickelsdorf, equipped with forged documents.
Albania's 38-year-old Alexander Hodaj had issued the European arrest warrant requested by the Bar Prosecutor following the execution of the operation, codenamed “Vrima”, whose investigations were carried out by the Italian AntiMafias Department.
Operation “Vrima” led to the destruction of a group of drug traffickers who trafficked heroin from Albania to Italy based in the town of Bar and branched throughout Italy to the Tuscan region.
Operation “Vrima” whose investigations were closed in 2015 led to the execution of 20 detention measures and the sequenting of 13kg of heroin of a very clean quality.
Also seized was a drug laboratory managed by Albanian extradited Alexander Hodaj.
Alexander Hodaj has been sentenced by Italian justice to four years and four months in prison, the sentence he will already carry out in Italy. /Time News/
