In this case, incumbent Environment Minister Fatmir Matosi said this project aims to improve the Krivareka River, as it will be equipped with the necessary infrastructure. According to him, the cost of the project is 900 thousand euros.
Matoshi: The Krivareka River bed has been allocated 900 thousand euros
“We are starting to implement the project fixing the bed of the Krivareka River is the first phase. For this phase there are 900 thousand euros, this riverbed as you can see has been degraded for years. It is provided under this comprehensive cleanup project, overhauling the support infrastructure, asphalting the sides, footmen's walkers, bicycles, lighting all over this section of the river, seats and many other things that will make the city of Kamenica much more attractive, changing its appearance and restoring the state of this river that used to be built under”, Matosh said.
During our day, Minister Matosh has also inspected the work of cleaning the Katushnica River.

We've also started cleaning the riverbed from Katushnica to Lower Karacheva. It has a length of over five miles [5 km], is also a degraded river filled with waste, and that project envisions cleaning it up, expanding the river's bed and creating better conditions for cleaner water for residents of that area”, the environment minister stressed.
Within the framework of this visit to the region of Gjilan and Kamenica, Minister Matoshi has also seen the start of sewage regulations and river bed in Doberqan.
