A mother who was forced to wait about six hours on the sidewalk for an ambulance later died in the hospital because of a heart attack.
Donna Gilby left her apartment at 8am because she had to go to the doctor, and suddenly she slipped and broke her leg.
Now the 47-year-old family wants the world to see her picture on the sidewalk, as it was impossible to move it and the ambulance hasn't reached over 6 hours, reports “Daily Mail”, broadcast news.net.
Her 74-year-old father said: “when we called the ambulance we claimed they'd be there at least by 8:30”.
They tell us they're getting a lot of calls and they're gonna try and be there as soon as we can.
When there was no sign, we called them back in an hour, this time they told us they were trying, but we don't know when we'll be there.
He indicated that the ambulance arrived at 2: 00 p.m., but later she experienced a heart attack and passed away.
Her father said she still can't believe it, she was a person who helped everyone, and left herself second for that reason she hasn't taken care of her weight and health for years.
