These 13 years, Venus and her mother had no permanent residence because the property that Venus's parent associated with her uncle was never carried to Statovci.
Aferdita Statovci has been recognised the right to inherit her father's property.
The clock was marking 11:45, when the moment came that Venus Statovci had waited for 13 years.
The foundation court in Pristina finally formalised Venus's right to property based on heritage.
The property that Venus's parent associated with her uncle was never carried to Statovci after her father's death.
To seek justice, Venus took the path to relevant institutions since 2006. But her subject turned several times into retrial.
And this week, Statovci finally signed the agreement with the other side, under which she would inherit the property of her father, who died when Venus was only 10 years old.
She will enjoy the property as she had requested through the indictment.
Although she says she has suffered much to this day because of prolonged procedures, she invites all women to seek their rights.
But, Aferdita Statovci will lead a lawsuit again. This time for human rights violations.
Venus's representative, Anton Noecaj, said that in this process there has been a host of violations of the legal framework and that the court has not offered judicial security to her.
