Singles are more creative and more shaped

Researchers at Max Planck Institute for Human Development also agree. According to them, single people weigh at least two pounds [2 kg] less than their married peers, although they generally eat healthier. This data has even been found in another publication in the journal Social Science & Medicine, which is specifically about men, and it links that to being a parent.

Besides, being single leads to the best career performance. So, a University of California study, Santa Barbara, shows that singles are generally more independent, more determined and show less negative emotions.

Some studies have shown that when loneliness is not associated with negative emotions, it leads to more productivity, more efficiency and creativity, also better.

Single people also have a broader social network and more intimate friendships.

While another study published in the Journal of Marriage and Family, confirms that being single helps preserve a better physical form compared to those who are married.
