Dear supporters of humanitarian action for Ada Lors
We announce that by the date of 21.11.2019 at Studio 21, humanitarian evening is held for Ada, who is organised by the Union of Students of the Evolution Academy, supported by the leaders and staff of this academy.
Ada Loshi, in 2016, has been diagnosed with SMA. This is a genetic disease that causes progressive neuromuscular disorder that affects muscle - controlled nerve cells (motoeurons).
The only treatment of this disease so far is the Nusinersen (Spinraza), created by the biotechnical company Biogen. This is the first and only therapy approved by the FDA in December 2016. The price of this media is too high.
Treatment with this drug should be started as soon as possible with the original 4 dose (12 mg/5 ml) on zero day, 14, 28 and 63. Then continue the holding dose every four months to improve the situation.
The only hope of achieving that purpose is you, people of goodwill. You and I can make it on this road.
